The insertion of the acupuncture needle is often painless, however some patients report feeling a slight poke during insertion. After the needles are in you may experience and achy sensation, tingling feeling and/or a feeling of warmth At Full Circle Wellness Center, your acupuncturist will use a gentle Japanese style treatment for patient comfort. Rachael will typically use a Japanese style of acupuncture, however for sports injured patients more intense trigger point therapy needling is most effective. This is determined on a case by case basis.
Hopefully after your first visit you have have some relief from your symptoms, however it can take up to 3 visits to get results. Depending on how long you have had an issue will determine how often and how long you will need to have satisfactory results. A good rule of thumb is for every year you have had a problem, it will take 1 month of regular acupuncture to obtain long lasting relief.
It is recommended you have 10 visits in a 5 week period. Rachael will schedule you 2
visits twice a week for 5 weeks
With quarterly maintenance visit your results can last 5 year. Of course this is not a time
machine, you will age in those five years, however your lines will be slower to catch up.
You will not have a look like you have had overdone plastic surgery, the results are more
subtle. People will say you look “rested” or “glowing”.
Yes you can, just not on the same day and the areas that have had the injection will be
avoided.
Anyone who is on blood thinners (like Coumadin), aspirin, NSAIDS, pregnant women
$120 per visit or purchase the ten visit package you get one free so in total it is $1170.
